Meet Coach Molly

Molly Balfe is an endurance coach, research enthusiast, and advocate for training that supports both performance and wellbeing. She has spent nearly two decades coaching triathletes, ultrarunners, and cyclists, blending structured, data-informed training with a whole-athlete approach that accounts for each athlete’s life, context, and long-term health.

Molly’s coaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that performance and health work best together. She designs training that is purposeful, individualized, and aligned with the athlete’s goals and capacity. A committed student of the science of training, Molly integrates current research into clear, practical coaching. Her areas of interest include female athlete physiology, recovery, and long-term athlete development and performance.

Molly approaches coaching as a collaborative process. She works with athletes through open communication, consistent feedback, and structured planning. There are no generic templates—just targeted, evidence-informed guidance shaped by an athlete’s objectives, strengths, and constraints.
